An AI agent that does the work, not just the talking
OctaDezx is an agentic AI agent, not a chatbot. It captures orders with server-checked prices, files appointment requests, opens cases, records promises, calls customers and escalates with context.
A chatbot produces a reply and stops. OctaDezx is an agentic AI customer care agent: alongside every answer it can take the next step in your business, such as recording an order, filing an appointment request, opening a support case, saving a lead or placing a scheduled call. Every action lands in the same dashboard your team already uses, where people stay in charge of anything that needs a decision.
The everyday problem
Most customer conversations end with something to do. Someone wants to order, book, return, complain or be called back. When the assistant can only talk, a person still has to read the transcript, retype the details and remember to follow up, so the automation saves typing but not work.
How OctaDezx helps
OctaDezx connects conversation to action. It collects what an action needs inside the conversation, checks it against your own records where that matters, files it in the right place and tells the customer what happens next. Actions that involve money or commitments are recorded for your team to confirm, not silently executed.
Actions the agent takes today
- Captures orders with checked prices. The agent confirms items in the conversation and records the order. Every line price and the total are recalculated on the server from your saved catalogue, so a customer cannot talk the price down and the model cannot invent one.
- Files appointment requests. In chat or on a live phone call it collects the service, preferred time and contact details, then files a request your team checks and confirms. It does not promise a slot your team has not approved.
- Opens cases and records promises. An escalated problem becomes a support case that later messages join. When the agent promises something, such as a callback or a refund review, that commitment is stored with its due date so it is kept rather than forgotten.
- Captures and follows up leads. A customer who shares contact details becomes a lead. The agent follows a plain-English follow-up playbook you write, and staff can send a one-click follow-up into the customer's existing thread.
- Answers and places phone calls. The voice agent answers a real phone number in real time and can place configured outbound calls, such as appointment reminders, which can open with a spoken opt-out. Calls are transcribed into the same history as chats.
- Escalates and notifies your systems. When a person is needed it hands over with the whole conversation, opens a ticket in a connected helpdesk such as Zendesk, Freshdesk or Intercom, and can send a signed webhook to your own server.
One conversation, three actions
Illustrative flow, not a customer transcript.
- 1. Question. A customer on WhatsApp asks whether a jacket comes in medium and what delivery costs. The agent answers from the saved catalogue and your delivery policy.
- 2. Order. The customer orders. The agent confirms size and address, records the order and the server recalculates the total from the catalogue price.
- 3. Promise. The customer asks for a call about a gift note. The agent records a commitment for a callback and files the contact as a lead.
- 4. Handoff. A later message about a damaged parcel opens a case, notifies staff and, if connected, files a helpdesk ticket with the conversation attached.
Where the agent stops on purpose
- Appointment requests and refund requests are filed for team confirmation. The agent does not book into an external calendar or move money on its own authority.
- Orders are restricted to products in the saved catalogue. Payment collection, fulfilment and shipping steps depend on the integrations you connect and are reviewed in the dashboard.
- Dashboard workflows guide how the agent responds and when it hands over. They are not a general-purpose automation engine that runs arbitrary business processes.
Frequently asked questions
- What is an agentic AI agent? An agentic AI agent does not stop at a reply. It decides what the conversation needs and takes the matching action in your systems, such as recording an order, filing a booking request or opening a case, then reports what happens next.
- Is OctaDezx a chatbot or an AI agent? It is an AI agent. It answers customers, and alongside those answers it records orders, appointment requests, leads, cases and commitments, answers and places phone calls, and escalates to people with full context.
- Can the AI agent take payments or issue refunds by itself? No. Orders are recorded with server-checked prices and refund requests are filed for review. Moving money stays with your payment system and your team's approval.
- Which channels can the agent act on? Website chat, the shareable chat link, phone calls and connected messaging channels such as WhatsApp, Instagram Direct, Facebook Messenger, Telegram and Discord. The same actions land in one dashboard.
- Can my own software react to the agent's actions? Yes. Signed webhooks notify your server when an order, booking, refund request or escalation happens, and the MCP server lets AI clients such as Claude or ChatGPT run the same operations.
